Anker is released from prison after 15 years for robbery. The money was originally buried by his brother Manfred, and only he knows where it is. But Manfred has since suffered from a mental illness that has caused him to forget everything, including where he hid the loot. The brothers return to the scene of their childhood to find the money from the robbery, but at the same time they make an important discovery about themselves - they find out who they really are. The Last Viking is a comedy about identity with a unique sense of humor.
