Hiszem, ha látom? November 16-25. között rendezik meg Budapesten a VERZIÓ filmfesztivált, amely idén megmutatja, mit jelent dokumentumfilmet nézni egy olyan korban, amikor a mesterséges intelligencia, a deepfake-ek és a manipulált tartalmak egyre inkább megkérdőjelezik, hihetünk-e annak, amit látunk. Szegeden egy 5 filmből álló válogatást vetítünk a legkülönbözőbb témákban: szó lesz az ukrajnai háborúban megkínzott és megerőszakolt nők szolidaritásáról; egy fiatal, vidéki francia fiú élethelyzetéről és vágyairól; egy pszichiátriai betegséggel való együttélés lehetőségeiről; a hazai rapsztár, Pogány Induló gyors karrierjének árnyoldalairól; valamint a menopauzát övező társadalmi tabuk feltárásáról.
Három film után beszélgetésre is várjuk a nézőket: a Nyomok című filmről Figus-Illinyi Rita pszichológussal, a Hangok a fejemben című filmről Rafael Beatrix klinikai szakpszichológussal, A menopauza rejtély című filmről Katona Renáta nőgyógyásszal beszélget Szilárdi Réka szociálpszichológus.
A filmeket magyar és angol felirattal vetítjük.
Seeing is Believing? This year the slogan of VERZIÓ International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, organised between 16-25 November in Budapest, reflects both the growing uncertainty surrounding the authenticity of images and the documentary form itself, whose role is becoming increasingly important at a time when it is harder than ever to tell what is real in what we see on our screens. In Szeged, we will show 5 films on different topics: on the solidarity of women tortured and raped in the war in Ukraine; on the life and dreams of a young French boy living in the countryside; on how we can live together with a psychiatric illness; on the downside of the superfast career of young Hungarian rap star Pogány Induló; and on revealing the social taboos around menopause.
The films will be subtitled in Hungarian and English. Three screenings will be followed by discussions with experts (in Hungarian).
