Árpád (known to his sons as Chief) has been living alone for years after losing his wife with whom he lived more than half a century. In recent months, the old man has spent practically all his savings. His two sons, Attila and Kristóf, are confronted with this when the old man's electricity is turned off due to the accumulated debt. This is more than strange for the father, who lives modestly and on a salary, but he refuses to say anything about where more than one and a half million forints went. Attila and Kristóf figure out that Árpád gave the money to Hajnalka, a young girl with a difficult life. But who is this Hajnalka, whom they have never heard of before? The old man claims that he is in love. The boys claim that the old man is being deceived. Everyone sticks to their own truth. But the truth should be found out. The longest night of their lives begins. And then Hajnalka appears at the front door.
